The problem we solve

When you organise an event with 50, 100 or 200 guests, the photos taken by everyone end up scattered across: WhatsApp threads where they are compressed, shared Google Photos albums that require an account to participate, private messages where they get lost after 3 months. In the end, the organiser only recovers 10 % of what was taken, and every photo in low resolution.

Photobooth fixes exactly that: a 6-digit code, a nickname, and every guest uploads their HD photos to a gallery dedicated to the event. The organiser collects everything, sorted by guest, in a zip.

Product choices

  • No guest account — every percentage of entry friction loses a percentage of contributors. The trade-off « no account vs traceability » is settled in favour of no-account. A nickname + PIN is enough.
  • No native app — a mobile web app is sufficient. Saves app build cost + zero install friction for older guests.
  • European hosting — Vercel and Neon Postgres in European region. No transfer outside the EU for GDPR and common-sense reasons.
  • Pay per event — no subscription trap for individuals. The Soirée plan at €29 is a one-off payment.
  • Backup to your Drive — you keep long-term control over your photos. Photobooth is not a silo.

Why the names « Photobooth » and « labo.gallery »

« Photobooth » refers to party photo booths — but digital, without the booth, without the bulk, and without the limit of one angle per shot. Every guest's phone becomes a mini-photobooth.

« labo.gallery » is the domain. « labo » as in photo lab — the place where film was developed. The gallery structures photos into named film rolls, like the labels on physical reels. An analog reference inside a 100 % digital product.

The team

Photobooth is designed and developed by Frédéric Le Bris, founder of Le Bris Consulting. Direct contact via the contact form or by email at fred@flebris.com.

Commitments

  • No data resale — photos and metadata you entrust to us serve only to run the product. No advertising use, no third-party sharing.
  • Deletion on demand — you can request full deletion of a space and all its data at any time. Maximum delay: 7 business days.
  • Public roadmap — product evolutions are documented on the blog, which also serves as a logbook.
  • No third-party marketing tracking— the gallery (guest side) loads no Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel or equivalent script. Wedding guests are not anyone's ad target.
